I'm always looking for great photos of great hair for my photo galleries! If you had great hair for your wedding, a fantastic updo for prom, a perfect haircut, amazing color, or a beautiful perm, I want to see it! I am happy to accept photos from hair stylists and photographers!
Here's how you can share your photo:
Save the photo as a .jpg file. If you can, use photo editing software to change the size to no more than 600 pixels squared.
The file size should be no larger than 80KB, but ideally no more than 35KB. If you are using a digital camera, set it to the lowest resolution or check to see if your photo editing program has a "save for the web" feature. Photos with dates, blurry photos, and photos taken at extreme angles are not acceptable. Also, please make sure that the photo is cropped is cropped to show the hair as the centerpiece of the photo.
To submit a photo, send an email to womenshair.guide@about.com with the following information in your email:
- Use the words "Photo Submission" in the subject line of your email.
- In the body of the email, include your name, the name and email of the copyright holder of the photo (if not you), and a little information about the photo. If you are not the copyright holder, I will need to email the photographer for permission to use the photo. Most photographers are happy to share their work on About.com!
- Photographers and Hair Stylists: please include a link to your business in your email so I can link to you.
- If you want to submit more than one photo, please send a seperate email for each one.
