In my newsletter last week I talked about hair heroes. I define a hair hero is a person that sacrifices their hair to bring awareness or understanding to a great cause. We all tend to have an attachment to our hair. Letting it go makes us vulnerable,  jeopardizes our definition of beauty, and removes a veil that we don't even realize we hide behind.

Some people cut their hair off for charity. My friend Emily, is shaving hers. That's right. She's shaving her head.
