Much to the dismay of many of my clients and readers, I recently decided to grow my super short pixie cut out. Into what you may ask? I really have no idea. To expedite the growing process, I've decided to give F.A.S.T. Shampoo/Conditioner a try. I'd never heard of F.A.S.T. until my hair stylist tipped me off. Turns out, I must have been living under a rock because many of my clients, friends, and acquaintances have used the shampoo.

I've been using the shampoo and conditioner for a solid month. My hair has grown one half inch in the front. That may not seem like much, but considering that it took a full 7 months to grow 2 inches in the front previously, I'd say this is an achievement.

After my last haircut, my hair was so short that I didn't even need a comb to style it. It never got messy, just laid different depending on the wind and my sleeping pattern. Today I woke up with bed head and a comb was absolutely necessary to style my hair. I'm not sure how I feel about it to be honest. I really like the low maintenance qualities of really short hair, but obviously the shampoo is growing my hair that has been notorious for growing at the speed of slow.

I'm scheduled for another haircut early next week. I'm going to get a real one, again. I'm totally on a roll, and I'm really looking forward to my time in the salon as a client. I don't anticipate a lot of change to the top of my  hair, but the back and sides will definitely need shortened up or a I fear a mullet coming on. Read my full review of F.A.S.T. Shampoo and Conditioner and don't forget to check me out on Facebook to keep updated with this experiment.
