As the weather report this morning is predicting a massive snow storm this week, Edmondo shares trends and predictions from the catwalks for the sidewalks for late spring and early summer that are sure to warm you up:

Style

• Spring into Style: tame a spring-loaded ponytail; a ponytail with a bounce or plump near the root with teased hair.
• Side Lines: side parts are in again this year and the runways saw striking side parts playing a big part of a sleek ponytail's look.
• Wave Hello to Spring: waves undulate endlessly this Spring/Summer form big kinks to billowy waves to tight curls. There will be a big impact on all types of wave and curl patterns.

Cuts

• Bobs Are Back: the bob is back with a huge emphasis on a wavy bob just brushing the shoulders, and a weighted fringe make bobs super modern for 2011.
• Look Bangin': bangs are bangin' in 2011; especially for a flirty new look in spring/summer.

Color

• Goldilocks: there is a huge gold rush! Fashionistas are sparkling with lots of blondes from strawberry blonde to a gingery look and then there is the platinum peeps.
• The Brown Lowdown: browns have never been as big and beautiful - step outside the neutral zone with the chestnuts, sorrels, and most hyped terracotta color.
• The Painted Veil: no matter the color, there will be a lot of balayage/umbra that enhances color and tone that gives the hair brightness and depth.
