Ladies, it's true; fall is just around the corner. This is the time in hair that we start thinking fall haircolor. I like to mimic nature during the fall. Deeper, richer, warmer, darker colors make their appearance in the fall, much like the leaves on the trees. So, what do I predict for this year's hot fall hair color?

I've already witnessed a push toward a really rich dark chocolate cherry color (pictured to the right). This rich dark brown base color is given personality with a hint and a pop of red to compliment your skin tone. If you want to go really daring with this color, pop in a few copper penny highlights for a beautiful fall twist of color.

Speaking of copper, I see a lot of copper tones making their way into fall haircolor. Copper color can be as daring or subtle as you're wiling to go and adds a sparkle of fall to just about any shade. "Bronde" is making all kinds of headlines this fall and is a nice change for those us that get a little "blondarexic" in the summertime. If you're not looking for red but want to add personality to a dark color, try a rich mahogany color with some subtle caramel highlights for depth.

What do you plan do do with your haircolor this fall?

I’ve been considering plum or redder tones for this autumn, a colour which I have not yet worn. Previous colours have included honey and lighter browns but the red spectrum is now appealing to me!
