I have yet to actively broach the subject of hair loss, thinning hair, and thin hair in general. When I decided to address the subject this week, my brain immediately went to Nioxin hair products. Nioxin products have pioneered the way to thicker, healthier hair for over twenty years. What I love about Nioxin is that they don't claim to regrow your hair, make it grow an inch a week, or give you a full new head of thick hair in any way, shape or form. What Nioxin does claim (and, by the way, they have years of results to stand by their claims) is to make your scalp as healthy as possible. A healthy scalp will grow healthier-looking, thicker-appearing hair.
- People with thinning hair.
- People with thin hair.
- People with thin or thinning hair in their family.
- People on medications where hair loss can be a side effect.
- People with hereditary hair loss.
- People wanting to grow their hair out.
- People that simply would like thicker hair.
The key is to start using Nioxin as soon as possible, and continue to use the products daily, as directed. The results will take time, but in time 9 out of 10 people report thicker appearing hair after using the Nioxin system. It's simply a shampoo, conditioner, and scalp treatment. Check out this review and all the products offered by Nioxin.

I bought the starter kit (system 2) based on your recommendation. I hope it works! Does anyone else find that the Scalp Treatment leaves your hair sticky? any ideas to mitigate that would be appreciated.
Do the scalp treatment spray then blow dry after messaging it in. It shouldn’t be as sticky.
Try to keep the treatment off of your hair and on your scalp, you can also apply straight to the scalp w/out the applicator, place the treatment in the palm of yor hand and apply with finger tips… You don’t need to use a ton. If you have more “hair than skin” you should be using #1 and not #2
I had this problem too – could be one of the following:
1) Product isn’t hitting scalp -
Emulsify product in palms (rub together) before massaging into scalp
2) You might need the liquid if you’ve got the foam (#7 – scalp activating treatment) I was told to switch to this & was lucky enough that a Nioxin Tech did this for free as I’d initially be recommended the wrong one
Wow. I think I’ve heard of this before. I will have to give it a try. I also sleep on silk pillowcases, I found this to work wonders as well. http://www.essenceofsilk.com has the best information on it. Thanks.
